Two decades after our first partnership revealing the original Xbox, icon of global entertainment and entrepreneurial strength, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Xbox are teaming up again to celebrate the launch of the next generation of Xbox. This time, we are partnering with Gamers Outreach to give twenty children's hospitals across the country the first batch of custom Xbox Series X consoles and specialized Gamers Outreach Karts, also known as GO Karts, which are portable kiosks built to easily provide recreation for children who cannot leave their hospital rooms.
An unforgettable surprise for children across the country, the customized Xbox Series X features Johnson's iconic Brahma Bull logo that represents strength, resilience, heart and power, and includes a special recorded message for children alongside their signature evoking hope and goodwill:
“Keep smiling and have fun. Love, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson ”
Custom Xbox Series X consoles are accompanied by personalized Xbox Wireless controllers with a matching golden Brahma Bull and will be featured in the hospital's portable GO Karts. GO Karts were built specifically for hospitals to empower and bring joy to families through games, giving children access to interactive entertainment and the chance to socialize through video games.
Johnson announced the partnership and gave fans an early look at the first personalized Xbox Series X console on social media on Sunday, November 8th. Over the next year, more than 50,000 children will be able to play with GO Karts and custom Xbox Series X consoles and Xbox Wireless controllers at the following hospitals: Children & # 39; s Healthcare of Atlanta, Children & # 39; s Colorado Hospital, Children & # 39; 39; s Hospital of Los Angeles, Children & # 39; s Hospital Orange County, Children & # 39; s Hospital St. Louis, Children & # 39; s Wisconsin, CS Mott Children & # 39; s Hospital, Dell Children & # 39; s Medical Center, Franciscan Hospital for Children, Joe DiMaggio Children & # 39; s Hospital, Methodist Children's Hospital, Mount Sinai Kravis Children, MUSC Children's Health, Nicklaus Children's Hospital, Riley for Children Hospital, Seattle Children & # 39; s Hospital, Shriners Hospitals for Children – Northern CA, Texas Children & # 39; s Hospital, UCSF Benioff Children & # 39; s Hospital and UNM Children & # 39; s Hospital.
