Square Enix announced that SaGa Frontier Remastered will bring an updated version of the classic PS1 JRPG from 1998 to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Steam, iOS and Android in the summer of 2021.
SaGa Frontier will feature "updated graphics, events, scenes, improvements" and even a new protagonist named Fuse, who may also be known as Detective Roster. As with many remastered RPGs, it also includes a high-speed function to assist in the many battles that players will undoubtedly face.

In our SaGa Frontier Review in 1998, we said "With all the justice, SaGa Frontier has a great story, it's a little vague at first, but when all the scenarios start to fit, the game starts to get really good. If you like role-playing games and are looking forward to another Square RPG, SaGa Frontier is probably a safe buy – most Square games are. But if you get the chance, I would rent it first. "
SaGa Frontier is the seventh game in the SaGa series, a series that started in 1989 with The Final Fantasy Legend. Nintendo is ready to launch the SaGa Final Fantasy Legend Collection on December 15, 2020, and it will bring together SaGa's first three titles – Final Fantasy Legend, Final Fantasy Legend II and Final Fantasy Legend III.
